Upon arrival, General Munir was received by the Commander of the Mangla Corps and briefed on the training objectives designed to validate the operational readiness of the formation in a challenging environment.
The exercise showcased the synergy between the Pakistan Army, Pakistan Air Force, and Army Aviation units, demonstrating coordinated offensive maneuvers and the integration of advanced weapon systems under near-battlefield conditions.
Addressing the troops, General Munir lauded their high morale, combat proficiency, and warfighting spirit, terming them the embodiment of the Pakistan Army’s operational excellence. He emphasized the army’s unwavering resolve to defend the nation’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
“Let there be no ambiguity: any military misadventure by India will be met with a swift, resolute, and notch-up response,” he stated, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace while highlighting its preparedness to safeguard national interests.
The exercise featured live fire and maneuvers by advanced VT-4 tanks, the shoot-and-scoot capabilities of long-range SH-15 self-propelled artillery guns, and innovative equipment displays. Troops from all arms and services demonstrated exceptional tactical cohesion, agility, and lethality during synchronized offensive maneuvers, reflecting a high level of training and professionalism.
“Exercise Hammer Strike stands as a testament to the Pakistan Army’s pursuit of continuous transformation through rigorous training, doctrinal innovation, and technological modernization,” the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated.
